The City of Holland will host its first International Festival on Saturday August 17, 2019. This free festival will launch a new tradition of bringing together the diverse cultural community of West Michigan as we learn about the cultures of our neighbors here and across the world in a fun, family-oriented way. As a community that thrives on growth and retaining a diverse workforce, we recognize the value and tone this festival sets for our community.
The Festival will feature:
- Live cultural entertainment
- Ethnic foods and cooking demonstrations
- The “Mercado of the World”
- Free festival “Passport” and hands-on activities for children and adults
The International Relations Commission and the International Festival Board maintain a firm commitment to celebrate cultures through personal, professional, and/or business affiliations as we work to make the City of Holland connected to and growing with the wider world.
The event is free and open to the public thanks to our generous sponsors, dozens of volunteers and talented entertainers.
